Welcome
Welcome to Ecole Bellewood – Home of the Bisons!
Welcome to the 2023/2024 school year. Ecole Bellewood is an amazing place to learn and grow. Our committed and dedicated staff, students and community certainly show a lot of Bison pride! We need parents as partners in the teaching and learning process. We are constantly learning as a staff and are focusing on the best ways to provide literacy and math instruction for our students. In addition, we strive to make every student feel that this is their home away from home and that we are an inclusive community in which they can feel a sense of belonging.
The Ecole Bellewood staff is committed to each student as a whole child. We have high expectations for your child(ren) and will plan, teach and assess in order that each of them can meet with success. Staff give freely outside of their roles as teachers to offer a range of extra-curricular opportunities.
Our Mission Statement reflects our beliefs and goals:
We welcome and support every child in a safe, inclusive and challenging environment.
In partnership with parents and the community, we ensure students of all abilities achieve personal excellence.
We empower each child to be confident, successful and contributory citizens in a changing global community.
We encourage our families to get involved. We need parents to be partners in the teaching and learning process. Please consider volunteering as a member of our Parent Involvement Committee!
Communication is essential and our door is always open. Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher, office staff or administration at the school any time. We are committed to an outstanding educational experience; one which ensures success for your child!
