What does the CYW do?
The CYW provides direct intervention with students. They assist school staff with assessing student behaviour and in developing plans that outline strategies for students to reach their full potential.
CYW Roles
- Helping students cope with family/friend and relationship issues.
- Providing emotional and mental health (wellness) checks.
- Looking for assistance through outside agencies.
- Assisting in peer/teacher mediation.
- Helping students with coping strategies, social skills, and communication skills.
- Assisting with job searches.

How can I make an appointment?
- You can send an EDSBY message to set up a meeting.
- You can ask your teacher to see the CYW during class.
- You can drop by the office before school, after school or between classes when the door is open.
