What do Guidance Counsellors do?
Guidance Counsellors work with students to achieve their post-secondary school goals, in addition to working through any social and academic problems. These counsellors help choose high school classes that prepare students for their post-graduation plans. They also help students apply to university, college, apprenticeships, or the workplace by advising them about admission requirements and financial aid.
How can I contact them?
You can send your Guidance Counsellor an email or phone message. Students are assigned to a Guidance Counsellor by the first letter of their last name as follows:
Student Last Name | Guidance Counsellor | Email Address | Phone Number |

How can I make an appointment?
The guidance counsellors are here and ready to help. If you would like to speak to your counsellor in person, please use the following procedure:
As we are trying to limit the number of students coming in and out of the office, we kindly ask that you send an EDSBY message to the appropriate counsellor (listed above). Your appointment will be scheduled in your EDSBY schedule as a planned Office Absence. If you would like to make a course change, please see the Guidance secretary, Ms. Ouellette, for a course change form to fill out and submit.
