School history
Welcome to Gosfield North Public School, Home of the Cougars! We are located approximately 2 km north of the village of Cottam, in the heart of Essex County.
We are a school of approximately 460 students from junior kindergarten through grade eight. We pride ourselves in valuing learning in academic areas, athletics and the arts. To meet that challenge we offer high quality classroom learning as well as a variety of clubs/sports teams and arts based learning opportunities for our students. We believe that students learn not only the curriculum expectations but life skills from numerous activities inside and outside of the classroom. We are extremely proud of our athletic accomplishments, achievements of our school band, and our stewardship in our community.
We value the participation of our community partners and our very active GNPS School Council. At Gosfield we are Cougar Proud!
