Content/Resources/Activities (Including Presenters): Jodi Nolin, the Special Assignment Teacher Student Well-Being presents an 8 to 10-minute video introduction to mindfulness and a breathing practice/strategy to calm and relax the nervous system using resources from School Mental Health Ontario and Mindfulschools.org.

Content/Resources/Activities (Including Presenters): The Board Literacy Team presents a 130-minute guided slideshow to assist Principals and Educators with unpacking the strands of the new Language Curriculum. Time will be dedicated to helping educators implement evidence-based practices and resources aligned with the Right to Read Report recommendations.

Content/Resources/Activities (Including Presenters): Aligned to the GECDSB Dismantling Anti-Black Racism Strategy, educators will have the opportunity to continue to explore the GECDSB developed learning modules titled, History, Harm, Healing and Honour and plan for the sharing of this learning with their students.

Content/Resources/Activities (Including Presenters): Various presenters, including the host Dean Valentino, will provide sessions focusing on resources and best practices for primary, junior and intermediate elementary arts educators in the disciplines of music, drama, dance, and visual arts.

Time will be dedicated to implementing the FSL curriculum with fidelity and board-provided resources to develop confidence, proficiency and achievement for all learners. This will be lead by the FSL Teacher Consultant
