The Greater Essex County District School Board (GECDSB) offers experiential learning opportunities to students from kindergarten to Grade 12. These programs help to enrich students' education and support their pathway planning.

What is experiential learning?
Experiential learning is an inquiry-based teaching approach that provides opportunities for students to build onto their learning skills outside the classroom. In experiential learning, students will:
- Participate in rich experiences connected to a community outside of school
- Reflect on these experiences and understand what it means to them
- Apply their learning to influence their pathway decisions
