Schools with full day child care
We partner with third party child care partners to offer full day child care programs that are licensed by the Ministry of Education, at select schools within GECDSB. These programs may be available to infants, toddlers and pre-school aged children depending on the specific programs. Visit each school to learn more about the program and find out how to register.

Kids Club Program
The Kids Club Program is an after school program for students in Grade 1 to Grade 8. The program is run by the YMCA and offers before and after care for school-aged children. Learn more about the Kids Club and find out how to register.

Extended Day Program
The GECDSB has partnered with a number of licensed third party child care partners to offer seamless Extended Day Programs in our schools. These programs are for students from JK to age 12, who require care before the school day starts and after the school day ends. As child care needs arise, we collaborate with our Child Care partners to conduct surveys in school communities to assess interest in programs. Programs will typically run if there are 20 or more children interested in attending on a regular basis.
