Student Senate is proud to have chosen Breanne Epp for Student of the Month. Breanne demonstrates this month's theme of reliability in many aspects of her life. She can always be relied on to be on time to her classes and she never fails to complete homework and assignments on time and to the best of her ability. On top of this, she is always willing to discuss class topics with peers to help them and herself gain a broader understanding and feel more confident in the classroom.
Breanne is a part of the school band, and can always be counted on to arrive early and set up, as well as use her years of saxophone and music expertise to help her other band-mates when they are struggling.
Breanne demonstrated an act of reliability recently when she and a friend were asked to lead a group of Grade 9s for Grade 9 Wacky Olympics only days before the event. She stepped up to the task to create an enthusiastic and welcoming environment for her team.
Outside of school, Breanne also displays reliability at her church in kids ministry, volunteering her time to help leaders and kids alike. In addition to all of her schoolwork and volunteering positions, Breanne maintains a part time job at Tim Hortons, where she is punctual, hardworking, compassionate and picks up shifts for her coworkers whenever she can.
Breanne is also a reliable friend. She maintains a positive attitude and a friendly demeanour, letting her peers know that they can trust her to offer encouragement and support in any circumstance!
Congratulations on being chosen as GECDSB's Student of the Month, keep up the great work!
