In November of 2021 GECDSB staff were asked to participate in a Workforce Census. The Workforce Census is one part of the Board’s Equity Action Plan that also includes an Employment Systems Review and the Student Census which will take place in late 2022 and 2023.
The census gathered demographic information about the unique and diverse composition of the workforce. The information is critical to our efforts to foster an inclusive workplace environment where everyone has opportunities to be engaged and supported.
Participation in the census was anonymous, confidential and voluntary and was administered by Turner Consulting Group.
