Linda Qin is a Trustee at the Greater Essex County District School Board (GECDSB), representing Windsor Wards 1, 2 and 9.

Linda Qin’s education, professional experience and compassion build a strong foundation for the role of a GECDSB Trustee. She feels that the priority is quality education for all students and that the opinions of parents and students should be respected. As well, she recognizes the importance of mental health and safety of students.
She has earned a master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering, a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management Engineering and is a PhD candidate in Manufacturing Management. She has also taught at a university business school.
As a trustee, the qualities of integrity, courage, and perseverance are essential to Linda. She aims to be a passionate, energetic, and caring advocate for all GECDSB students and families.
